ramen is the best i should know I GREW UP ON IT i like seafood the best dunno how Ichiraku Ramen might taste like but i know a very good ramen stand THATS OWNED BY ME CAUSE ONLY I EAT AT IT AND ITS GREAT im soooo weird

Tayuya entered the small, crowded ramen restaurant and glanced at the patrons near her, before giving her full attention to the chef.

"I'd like a beef deluxe, with chopped mushrooms added," she said, taking a seat.

The place is crowded, it will be easier to avoid people that way.
"One regular, nothin' special. I'll be outside."
I stood outside the shop, opening the bingo book and smiled.
Looks like today will be an easy one.

*reappears behind Yuuto* eager aren't we. I know you dont like being around people so much so how about my offer to you to take my place as Anbu for a week? I have...some personel issues to take care of.

*flicks a mushroom at Yuuto*

"Has the Kage approved of this? If she has..."
*The bird on Yuuto's shoulder shifts and Yuuto takes out his Kunai and swiveled to block the...*

*looks to see where it came from*

"I'm sorry, you'll have to excuse me for a moment."
*walks over to Tayuya*
"Something you wanted to say?"

"Eh? You're gonna have to speak up, I can't hear that whispery voice of yours. Is that supposed to make you cool or something?"

*flicks another mushroom*

"What?"
*mushroom his Yuuto's face and falls to the ground*
"Could you stop that?! The only reason I'm putting up with you is because you're being considered for citizenship! Why did you come here anyways? This seems like the last place you'd want to be."

Tayuya spun in her chair, turning her back to Yuuto and facing the bar once more.

"I could say the same for you, couldn't I?" Given her memory, it was less of a rhetorical question than Yuuto would realize. She hoped his response would give her another nugget of information about where they came from.

Yuuto gave a slight smile and scratched the back of his neck.
"I guess you could, but after the invasion this was the easiest place to transfer to. Anyways this Kage I can trust, there's just something... different about this village. Still, you were one of the top four, you were much closer to Orochimaru then I was."

This is familiar. I was elite. I was part of a special squad, yet... I'm still quite young. I must have been special, in some way.

"There's a beginning and an end to everything, I guess. You weren't exactly a low-rate shinobi yourself."

Tayuya knew she was going out on a limb by making such a guess, but given Yuuto's ability there was little chance that he wasn't in the upper ranks, wherever they were from.

Yuuto glanced back at where Uzuki stood giving a small sigh, then turned back to face Tayuya giving a small smile.
"That sounds odd comming from you, but I guess you're right. We both were found worthy to be marked."

"While I may relish opportunities to remind you of my superiority..."

Tayuya paused and slurped up a long ramen noodle.

"...That doesn't mean I would lie."

This conversation is leading in a good direction, Tayuya thought. I shouldn't push things too hard. Otherwise he may begin to suspect that I've lost my memory, and shut me out completely.

Dropping a few gold coins on the counter, Tayuya stood. Even standing she wasn't near Yuuto's height. "I've got to go get my things arranged. See you around, idiot."
